As part of our Student experience we think it is important to provide the opportunity to formalise and further develop training. As a registered LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) private examination centre, we currently offer LAMDA Exams in Musical Theatre, Acting, Verse and Prose and Public Speaking.

LAMDA is one of the oldest drama schools in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1861, it quickly established itself as a centre of excellence in performance training. LAMDA has provided theatre and the world of film and television with generation upon generation of first-class actors and expertly-trained stage managers across the world.

At Level 3 and up LAMDA Examinations also contribute to UCAS points for students.
These examinations are solo entries and therefore the exam material is prepped and worked on in 1-1 sessions only under the guidance of our Acting and Voice tutors.

(1-1 sessions are additional cost)
LAMDA examinations have an entry fee relevant to Grade.

We also offer group musical theatre examinations through the examination board Performance Arts Awards - Rock School, London.
These innovative examinations offer students the opportunity to perform and be examined as a group, whilst being entered at their own grade and receiving individual results and report sheets.

These examinations are prepared for in class and therefore it is only the exam board entry fee that is an additional cost. Sometimes we perform these exams as part of a ‘Show’ and at times we perform them on a set examination day. ALL students take part in these performances so we recommend that all students enter and give it go!

We are very proud of our 100% pass rate in examinations and even prouder of the fact that all our students gain Merit or Distinction, with over 75% gaining the highest honour of Distinction.
